杨洁,女, 博士,1982年12月生, 四川省绵阳市人, 云南省杰出青年基金获得者。现任中国科学院西双版纳热带植物园研究员,森林生态结构、功能与动态研究组组长,西双版纳热带雨林生态系统国家野外科学观测研究站行政副站长。
主要从事森林生态系统物种多样性维持机制的研究。先后承担完成了国家重点研发计划、“中国科学院战略性先导科技专项(B类)”和国家自然科学基金(3项)等13余项;在国内外核心刊物上发表学术论文35余篇,其中以第一或通讯作者在SCI刊物上发表29篇;出版专著1部。荣获云南省优秀博士学位论文、第九届云南省青年科技奖、入选中国科学院青年创新促进会优秀会员、云南省“万人计划”青年拔尖人才。担任中国生态学会理事,云南省生态学会理事,云南省植物学会联络人,Plant Diversity期刊编委,云南省第十一次党代会代表。
带领森林生态研究组,建设和维护云南热带和亚热带森林长期动态监测样地、典型森林样地网络和海拔梯度研究平台。基于对森林生态系统的长期监测和研究,探讨全球变化下森林生态系统的树种多样性格局及其生态系统服务功能,为森林生态系统的退化机制与持续管理提供科学依据,为我国西南生态安全屏障建设做出积极贡献。在森林生态系统物种多样性维持机制研究方面取得了突出成绩,主要包括以下几个方面:
(1)开创性地利用群落组学推进群落生物多样性机制研究
拓展森林群落研究手段,首次利用代谢组学和转录组学等技术,将热带雨林群落尺度树种防御基因、次生代谢产物与树种植食情况关联,揭示热带森林群落树种防御和植食者之间的关系。通过传统生态学和组学之间的学科交叉,实现研究方法的创新,推进群落尺度树种防御机制的研究,加深了对热带森林多样性维持机制的理解。为全球变化下森林病虫害的防控、森林健康的维系提供了新的视角和解决方式。
(2)率先提出整合功能生态学研究新观点,提升对森林动态变化的预测
拓展功能生态学的理论框架,首次提出并阐述整合性状的概念,推进和提升基于功能性状对森林的动态变化的预测,对功能生态学研究思想库具有创新性贡献,基于该思想,从个体性状变异、环境背景与组学技术三方面提出并验证整合性状对森林动态的预测。
(3)系统阐明了森林生态系统群落格局与形成机制
以云南典型森林群落为研究对象,从物种、进化历史和功能性状多维度开展森林群落格局与形成机制的理论研究。解析了热带和亚热带森林群落物种、系统发育和功能性状的结构与多样性,从机制上揭示确定性过程和随机性过程在不同空间尺度维持树种多样性的相对作用;阐明季节性干旱对云南森林生长和死亡动态的影响,预测未来气候变化情境下云南森林群落的动态变化,探讨森林生态系统的自我维持机制和对全球变化的响应
