张志明，男，博士，1976年10月生，湖北省武穴市人。现任尊龙凯时教授，博士生导师，副院长。
主要从事植被与生物多样性遥感制图、生态系统变化监测及修复、森林破碎化与生物多样性、微气候效应、城市景观与生物多样性， 以及遥感和地理信息系统应用与开发等研究工作。主持国家自然科学基金项目4项；科技部重点研发课题、青藏科考子课题等重要科研项目7项；发表中外刊物论文50余篇，英文专著1部。现任Frontiers of Ecology and Evolution、植物生态学报、国家公园等期刊编委。
